The Norwegian Offshore Directorate has granted Aker BP a drilling permit for well 24/12-8 S in the North Sea offshore Norway.
The well, part of production license 869, will be drilled using Odfjell Drilling’s Deepsea Nordkapp semisubmersible. The Deepsea Nordkapp contract was previously extended until the end of 2026.
