Noble jackup SPS, maintenance project to provide boost for Port of Aberdeen

Semco Maritime is set to perform maintenance work – including hull rebranding, a special periodical survey (SPS) and quayside support – on Noble Corp’s Noble Innovator jackup at the Port of Aberdeen’s South Harbor. In this video interview with DC, Phil MacDonald, Operations Manager at Semco, discusses the details of the project, including how the company is working to ensure a short turnaround time for the SPS. Mr MacDonald also speaks about the capabilities of South Harbor, which began a phased opening in July 2022, and how it can boost Aberdeen’s economy in the coming years.
