Video: Anadarko’s “Eyes On” program reduces behavior-based spills
Anadarko Petroleum has launched a program called “Eyes On” in its Marcellus operations to reduce behavior-based spills caused by employee distraction and inattention. The program requires rig workers to keep their eyes on fluids as they’re being transferred rather than focusing on another task. Since the program was introduced, the number of behavior-based spills has gone down, Jeffrey Lorson, Health, Safety and Environmental Manager at Anadarko, said. In this video from the 2015 IADC HSE&T Conference on 4 February, Mr Lorson speaks with DC Editorial Coordinator Kelli Ainsworth about the program, as well as how Anadarko’s core values are impacting HSE performance.
