NOV to launch new Tektonic drill bits platform

Later this year, National Oilwell Varco (NOV) will launch the new Tektonic series of drill bits. The company held a concept launch for the Tektonic bits platform at the 2015 OTC in Houston. In this exclusive video with DC, Alexis Garcia, NOV Product Line Director for Performance Series Drill Bits, speaks with DC Editorial Coordinator Kelli Ainsworth about the platform, as well as NOV’s plans to develop bits for specific applications, including shale and deepwater.
