Halliburton introduces comprehensive wellbore cleanup, displacement service

Halliburton has launched CleanWell Solutions, a wellbore cleanup and displacement service that addresses the critical stage of well construction between drilling and completions. It combines filtration services, wellbore cleanup fluids, mechanical wellbore cleaning tools and software modeling to ensure a clean wellbore, thus facilitating a smooth completion installation and protecting the reservoir from potential damage. In this video from the 2017 Offshore Technology Conference in Houston on 3 May, Gavin Munro, Product Manager, discusses the development of the service and a Gulf of Mexico case history where 500 lb of debris were recovered from the wellbore, saving the operator an estimated $400,000.
