Anadarko, National Wild Turkey Federation partnership helps to preserve US habitats

Anadarko Petroleum has partnered with the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF), a conservation group dedicated to preserving wild turkey habitats. NWTF sees energy companies as valuable partners in their mission, Steve Barlow, President of the NWTF, said at the 2017 IADC HSE&T Conference. Companies can help the nonprofit to raise funds, and pipeline right-of-ways can actually help restore turkey habitats. In this video from the conference on 7 February, Mr Barlow and Jeffrey Lorson, HSE Manager for Southern and Appalachia Drilling for Anadarko, discuss why their organizations decided to establish a partnership. Mr Lorson also explains Anadarko’s commitment to leaving the land where it works in a better state.
