Behavioral reliability, transformational leadership among characteristics of high-reliability organizations
One key characteristic of high-reliability organizations is that they have a safety culture with behavioral reliability. This means workers are encouraged and expected to operate safely 100% of the time. To develop a safety culture with behavioral reliability, organizations need transformational leaders who are willing to lead by example in order to effect cultural change.
