Electromagnetic acoustic sensors enable accurate data collection during cement jobs
In July 2015, Baker Hughes launched the Integrity eXplorer wireline cement evaluation service to provide more accurate data on the quality of cement jobs. The data enables operators to make critical decisions that impact well integrity. The service uses electromagnetic acoustic transducer sensors to measure and relay information about cement properties. In this video from the 2016 OTC on 3 May, where the service was recognized with a Spotlight on Technology Award, Rajdeep Das, Product Champion for the Integrity eXplorer, tells DC about the benefits of using this technology and its ability to improve the quality of cement jobs.
