PTTEP: NOCs, IOCs and service companies must combine strengths to overcome challenges

As assets become more mature and operations become more complex, industry is challenged with finding economical and environmentally friendly operating strategies and solutions. Kanit Sangwongwanich, Executive VP, Operations Support Group for PTT Exploration and Production (PTTEP), moderated the technology collaboration panel session at the 2014 IADC/SPE Asia Pacific Drilling Technology Conference, 25-27 August in Bangkok. In this video, Mr Sangwongwanich, who also served as Chairman of the event’s Technical Program Committee, addresses the strengths that IOCs, NOCs and service companies bring to the table. As PTTEP looks to expand operations in Myanmar and potentially in South America, he believes collaboration will be key to overcome operational challenges.
