MTU Bi-Fuel Kit integrates controls to use natural gas for pressure-pumping operations

Ben Berwick, Director of Oil & Gas Applications at MTU, speaks with DC editorial assistant Lauren Wolfson in this video from the 2014 OTC about the company’s new Bi-Fuel Kit, developed for pressure-pumping applications. By integrating electronic engine controls with the bi-fuel controls, the kit enables operators to use natural gas while maintaining a safe and quality operating engine. The kit will be available next year for new and existing MTU 12V 4000 S83 engines.
