Turning Point USA was founded in 2012 with a focus on developing student advocates for small government and free markets. The organization’s Founder and Executive Director, Charlie Kirk, spoke about the economic and social benefits of the oil and gas industry at the 2017 IADC Drilling Onshore Conference on 18 May in Houston. He further encouraged the industry to be more active in public engagement.
