Companies should consider how response to downturns impact attraction of new employees
As the drilling industry contemplates how to attract more of and the best talent, companies should reconsider how they respond to a downturn and the impact of cutting things like internship programs, said Anna Ramirez, a recent graduate of the Missouri University of Science and Technology and a member of the school’s IADC student chapter. Ms Ramirez spoke at the 2019 IADC World Drilling Conference in Milan on 19 June on a panel session about how to attract, develop and retain new employees.
