BSEE launches SafeOCS near-miss reporting program

The US Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) announced the launch of SafeOCS on 5 May at OTC in Houston. SafeOCS is a voluntary, anonymous near-miss reporting program. BSEE is urging the drilling industry to actively participate by providing data that can be analyzed collectively to identify industrywide safety issues and trends.
