Acoustic Data awarded contract for SonicGauge wireless monitoring systems

Acoustic Data, a multi-year wireless downhole data acquisition provider for the oil & gas and underground energy storage industries, has secured a multi-million dollar contract with a major oilfield service company for their SonicGauge Wireless Monitoring Systems in Iraq.

The SonicSync will allow the operator to execute high-frequency well-test programs on command and without intervention. SonicGauge technology will be deployed by slickline across a substantial number of assets to provide real-time data acquisition for a multi-year duration.

Acoustic Data will also be releasing new command-driven technologies for completions, drill stem testing and production well testing in 2024.
