Petrobras completes Morpho drilling with third oil find in block FZA-M-59

Petrobras identified another oil-bearing interval in the Morpho well (1-BRSA-1405-APS), its third discovery in block FZA-M-59 off Amapá, in 2,886 m of water. Continued evaluation of other intervals of interest, following the discoveries announced on 14 August and 2 October, led to the new find.

Drilling and geological data acquisition at Morpho are complete, leaving only abandonment operations. Foresea’s ODN II drillship will then move to the Potiguar Basin off Rio Grande do Norte to start drilling at the Mãe de Ouro location.
