Baker Hughes wins BP stimulation contract for UK North Sea

Baker Hughes secured a contract from BP to provide offshore stimulation services across the operator’s UK North Sea operations. The award covers both new well development and enhanced recovery from mature fields.

Baker Hughes will deploy a vessel-based stimulation solution built around its StimFORCE modular stimulation package to support well completions and production enhancement activities. The company said the solution, backed by a UK operating base and an established local supply chain network, is designed to enhance operational reliability, minimize non-productive time and optimize recovery.

Baker Hughes has maintained a long-standing presence in the UK, helping offshore operators optimize reservoir performance across the well lifecycle through drilling, completions and intervention technologies.
