Eikeseth takes over as Aker Solutions chief
Aker Solutions’ board of directors appointed Paal Eikeseth as the company’s new president and CEO, effective 1 September 2026, succeeding Kjetel Digre, who decided to step down after six years in the role.
Mr Eikeseth has headed Aker Solutions’ Life Cycle business segment since 2022 and previously held operational and growth responsibility across the UK, Angola, Canada and Asia. He holds a master’s degree from the Norwegian School of Economics and brings prior consulting experience from PwC.
“Aker Solutions has a strong foundation for continued transformation, and the board is confident that the financial and commercial experience of Paal Eikeseth will help drive this change,” said Leif-Arne Langøy, chair of Aker Solutions’ board of directors.
