Arabian Drilling enters Oman with new offshore deal

Arabian Drilling signed a contract with Masirah Oil and Northern Offshore on 17 August 2026 to drill two firm wells and two optional wells offshore Oman, marking the Saudi contractor’s entry into a new GCC market.

Operations are set to begin before the end of Q3 2026 and the contract will conclude upon completion of the drilling program. The award follows the early completion of Arabian Drilling’s first international offshore drilling contract and the redeployment of the jackup to another GCC country.
