The IADC Training Committee recently took on the new name of the IADC Workforce Development Committee to reflect a mission to broaden the scope of the group’s work. In this exclusive video, new committee chairman Victor Fleming, training systems manager for Rowan Companies, discusses how the committee will address industry challenges related to competency and training through the development of globally applicable and practical guidelines. In particular, drilling contractors, operators and regulators are encouraged to actively participate in the committee as IADC works to bring key stakeholders together to address critical competency gaps.
