Transocean received a five-well contract in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea with an undisclosed operator for the drillship Deepwater Asgard, the company announced 16 April.
The 390-day campaign is expected to begin in Q4 2026. The contract is valued at approximately $158 million in backlog, excluding additional services and compensation for mobilization and demobilization.
