Attendees of the 2015 Abu Dhabi International Exhibition & Conference (ADIPEC), endorsed by IADC, will be immersed in an atmosphere of innovation with the event’s theme, “Innovation & Sustainability in a New Energy World,” supporting a setting for petroleum professionals to address important changes in the industry.

Hosted by ADNOC on 9-12 November in Abu Dhabi, UAE, the conference will encompass topics such as advances in fracturing and simulation technology, minimizing the environmental footprint of drilling activities and the future economics of offshore E&P. Global energy expert Dr Daniel Yergin will give the 2015 keynote address at ADIPEC. Dr Yergin founded Cambridge Energy Research Associates and is Vice Chairman of IHS. He also won a Pulitzer Prize in 1992 after writing The Prize: the Epic Quest for Oil, Money and Power. Dr Yergin will offer insight into how the oil and gas industry can help meet the world’s growing energy demand.

This year, visitors will also be able to experience a new three-day dedicated Offshore and Marine Conference taking place concurrently with main ADIPEC conference on 9-12 November at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre waterfront theater. The goal of the offshore conference is to unite industry experts to outline key offshore projects and provide updates on maritime security, safety, shipping and technological advances.

The day before ADIPEC begins, guests may participate in a newly extended full-day Women in Industry Conference on 8 November. ADIPEC expanded the Women in Industry Conference to better connect with women working in the oil and gas industry and to create increased dialogue regarding the changing role of women in the oil and gas business. 2015 will mark the third edition of the conference devoted to women working in oil and gas and will be hosted by Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi, Minister of International Cooperation and Development, UAE. Both women and men are encouraged to attend the event.

The conference will also showcase a VIP program for exclusive keynote speakers and panel discussions on 9-12 November.

The main ADIPEC conference is set for two ministerial sessions, two CEO plenary sessions, six panel sessions, three industry breakfast sessions, three topical luncheons, 79 technical sessions and other knowledge-sharing ePoster sessions.
