In Memoriam: Egidio Palliotto

Egidio Palliotto passed away on 20 March in Luxembourg at the age of 55. Mr Palliotto was head of the drilling business unit at Saipem.

He graduated with a degree in mining engineering in Trieste and began his career with Saipem, which took him all over the world. He climbed the drilling division of Saipem and became head of the division in 2013.

In Norway, he met and married his wife Ivonne. Together they had two daughters, Elinor and Isabella. Mr Palliotto is proudly Italian and Venetian. His family and friends were never far away from him during his last year of illness.
