Island Drilling was awarded a contract with Equinor for Permanent Plug & Abandonment (PP&A) work on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. The contract will commence in the first quarter of 2026.
The firm contract period is for three years, plus five one-year options. The contract value for the firm period is estimated at $330 million and includes mobilization, integrated services and modifications.
