Eldorado to purchase of Deep Value Driller drillship

Deep Value Driller entered into a binding agreement to sell the Deep Value Driller drillship to Eldorado Drilling for $300 million, according to a company announcement. The Deep Value Driller is an ultra-deepwater drillship.

The board of Deep Value Driller said it determined the transaction with Eldorado represented the best available alternative and therefore did not proceed with a previously announced agreement involving Saipem.
