IADC global trade guidelines address compliance with import/export laws

The IADC Global Supply Chain Committee recently issued new international trade guidelines for its members. Maersk Drilling’s Senior Export Control Officer Joseph Turner said the guidelines will help drilling contractors better follow international shipment regulations. “It provides a start point for our vendors to be able to understand the trade compliance regulations as it relates to shipping items internationally. As you know, drilling contractors are involved with international shipment – that’s probably one of our primary functions in our supply chain organization,” Mr Turner said.
