Rodney Littleton

Vice President of Permian Drilling and Completions, Pioneer Natural Resources

Rodney Littleton is the Vice President of Drilling and Completions (D&C) for Pioneer’s Permian Asset Team. Previously, Rodney was the D&C Vice President for the Southern Wolfcamp Asset Team, while working with Pioneer’s joint venture partner, Sinochem. Over the past 35 years in the business, he has enjoyed an extensive and varied background working different drilling projects for Pioneer. Those projects ranged from the deepwater Gulf of Mexico to desert drilling in Tunisia, as well as the Bossier, Barnett and Eagle Ford Shales in Texas.

Rodney began his career with Amoco in south Texas before moving on to international drilling operations. He also worked for Arco International before joining the Pioneer team. He earned a BS degree in Geological Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla in 1981.
