Marshall Adkins, managing director of Raymond James & Associates, speaks with Drilling Contractor associate editor Katherine Scott at the 2013 IADC Drilling Onshore Conference on 16 May in Houston about the global energy market outlook. Addressing oil, natural gas, rig count and the economy, Mr Adkins said there was both good and bad news. US oil prices are trending downward as supply outweighs demand, he said, but US natural gas price improvement could be long-term, although the rig count may still remain flat to down for this year. Watch the video for Mr Adkins’ forecast.
