Shane Marchand named as Chairman of 2018 IADC/SPE Drilling Conference

Shane Marchand, VP of Marketing and Business Development with Helmerich & Payne International Drilling Co, has been named as Chairman of the 2018 IADC/SPE Drilling Conference, scheduled for 6-8 March in Fort Worth, Texas.

Mr Marchand graduated from Baylor University in 1995 with a mechanical engineering degree. He joined H&P in 1996 and has worked in various engineering and operational roles, including district engineer in Alice, Texas, prior to his transition to account management in 2004. In 2005, he was promoted to International Marketing and Business Development Manager. In July 2010, he was named Vice President, Marketing.
