Arabian Drilling wins four-jackup contract from KJO

Arabian Drilling signed a four-year contract with Khafji Joint Operations (KJO) on 28 September 2026 to provide four jackup rigs. Arabian Drilling says the contract is valued at approximately SAR 2 billion and is the largest single offshore drilling contract it has received from KJO.

The contract will effectively double the number of Arabian Drilling rigs working for KJO. The financial impact is expected to begin at the end of Q4 2026.

KJO is a joint venture between Aramco Gulf Operations Company and Kuwait Gulf Oil Company that operates in the Divided Zone between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. The award follows a three-year offshore contract extension Arabian Drilling signed with KJO in July 2025.
