Ocean Oilfield completes purchase of former Noble Resolve jackup

Abu Dhabi-based Ocean Oilfield Integrated Solutions closed its acquisition of the jackup Ocean MVM, formerly the Noble Resolve, and has taken ownership of the rig.

The GustoMSC CJ50-X100 MC unit arrived in Malta on 13 October 2026 and is being marketed for immediate deployment on offshore drilling campaigns worldwide, subject to contractual arrangements and operational requirements.

Noble Corp agreed to sell the rig in December 2025 as one of six jackups it divested to focus on deepwater and ultra-harsh environment operations. Ocean Oilfield had said it would take over the rig once its previous contract finished.
