How to make a financial donation

Be aware that sending personal account information via e-mail is not considered safe, but the Southern Federal Credit Union can call you back and take your information via telephone.
They will ask for your credit card or debit card number, the expiration date, the 3-digit security code on the back of the card, and the amount of your donation.
If you want funds drafted electronically from your U.S. bank account, they will need the account name, the ABA transit routing number (a 9-digit number usually found at the bottom left of your check) and your account number.

The fund will take donations through 31 December 2010.
An employee advisory team is being established to direct these funds to the families. Since these funds are not going to a certified not-for profit organization, these contributions are not tax deductible under U.S. tax law. These funds will go to families for them to use at their discretion as a demonstration of the support and concern of our employees and our friends.
