In shallow waters, the weak point analysis is a crucial part of the riser analysis for semis and should include, at a minimum, the upper part of the well, wellhead bending moment, subsea BOP, lower flex joint angle, riser stress, telescopic joint stroke, marine riser tensioners stroke and upper flex joint angle.
