IADC Well Control Committee works to address best practices, calls for more contractor participation
The IADC Well Control Committee works to provide a global, industrywide forum dedicated to the collaboration and exchanging of best practices related to well control. The group has recently been working on observing new technologies and addressing concerns surrounding mispractices, said Pete Bennett, Director – Subsea Support at Pacific Drilling and Chairman of the IADC Well Control Committee, at the 2019 IADC Well Control Conference of the Americas in Galveston, Texas, on 27 August.
