Data Interoperability Workshop brings together experts to pave path for seamless data exchange
In April, more than 50 industry experts gathered at a Data Interoperability Workshop, held at IADC’s Houston headquarters, to discuss issues and barriers delaying the implementation of interoperable systems used to share measurements and control data. The goal was to help establish and standardize best practices that would enable interoperability amongst components, equipment and systems, thereby facilitating seamless data exchange, said Darryl Fett, Manager of Research for Drilling and Completions, Total, at the IADC Drilling Engineers Committee Q2 Technology Forum in Houston on 26 June. In this video with DC, Mr Fett discusses key takeaways from the workshop and plans moving forward. Watch the video for more information.
