Crosco will drill INA Egyptian well
Croatian operator INA has contracted a rig owned by Crosco Integrated Drilling & Well Services to continue exploration of the Egyptia East Yidma concession, Crosco announced recently. Ina’s Rizk-1 well, drilled in 2009, proved a commercial discovery, prompting the operator to further activity.
INA will drill the exploration well El Neamma using Crosco’s 2,000-hp Emsco 602 (Emsco C-211).
“Crosco is pleased to again be providing drilling services for INA in Egypt with Crosco drilling rig Emsco 602,“ said Petar Vuckovic, general manager of Crosco’s Egyptian branch. The company also has available in Egypt a second 2000-hp drilling rig, Emsco 605.
