Advanced simulators lead latest developments in training, enhance decision-making process

Diamond Offshore Drilling’s Ocean Technology Center is home to three full-size drilling simulators, one crane simulator, one ballast-control simulator and 12 portable well control simulators. “These simulators provide us with an opportunity to provide learning and assess our people in an environment that looks and feels similar, identical to the ones where they normally work in,” said Petar Radulovic, Director – Learning & Development Department at Diamond Offshore Drilling. Mr Radulovic participated on a panel discussion about the latest generation training centers at the 2014 IADC Well Control Europe Conference in Aberdeen on 3 December.
