Halliburton to deliver integrated well services for Eni’s Cronos project offshore Cyprus

Halliburton secured a bundled well construction and completions contract from Eni for the Cronos ultra-deepwater gas development in Block 6 of the Cyprus Exclusive Economic Zone. The award covers exploration and development wells and strengthens Halliburton’s offshore portfolio in the Eastern Mediterranean.

Halliburton will deliver integrated drilling, well construction, automation and completions services, including drilling fluids, directional drilling, LOGIX automation and remote operations, cementing, surface well testing and coiled tubing. The bundled scope is intended to reduce operational interfaces and support efficient delivery across the multi-year development.

Cronos establishes a platform for further deepwater activity in the Eastern Mediterranean, one of the industry’s most active emerging offshore gas regions. Halliburton will draw on its established infrastructure and regional capabilities in Cyprus to support the campaign.
