Command Tubular showcases connections, extended wear pipe at Texas plant

On 15 July, IADC and DC staff toured Command Tubular Products’ manufacturing facility in New Caney, Texas, where the company produces specialized products like extended-wear drill pipes, along with drill collars and other drill pipe components. In this video, DC spoke with Andy Dansereau, the company’s Western Hemisphere Operations Manager, about the manufacturing processes for these products. Mr Dansereau also spoke about one of the newer additions to the company’s product line, the Command Extended Wear drill pipe, as well as the Command Enhanced Torque connection.
